Tue, 20 January 2009 This is a special edition of an Inaugural flavor. I tested out my new Zoom H2 recorder by taking it with me to the National Mall to bear witness to the inauguration of our 44th President of the United States, Barak Obama. The following recording is of his taking the Oath of Office and his Inaugural Address. This is what you would have heard standing at the base of the Washington Monument. There is crowd noise, wind noise and a bit of reverb from the time difference of many multiples of sound systems throughout the National Mall. You can find the full text of his address at CNN at http://tinyurl.com/7buosk Also, remember that Copynight is coming up, check out www.copynight.org Please send in your feedback!
